Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Myrddin. Myrddin was special because he had a very unique friend. His friend's name was Bob, and he was a ghost! But don't worry, Bob wasn't a scary ghost. He was a little ghost boy who loved to have fun and go on adventures with Myrddin.
Myrddin's family was quite big. He had three older sisters who were always busy with their own things, a playful nine-year-old brother, a baby brother who was only one year old, and a kind mom who loved them all very much. The fun part was, nobody else could see Bob, but they could feel his presence. Sometimes, when Bob was feeling playful, he would move things around, and Myrddin's family would wonder how that happened!
Every day, Myrddin and Bob would have a new adventure. One day, they might be pirates sailing the seas on a mighty ship (which was really just Myrddin's bed). Other days, they could be explorers finding hidden treasure in the deepest jungles (the garden). Or they could be superheroes, protecting their home from invisible monsters (the wind rustling the trees).
No matter what adventure they had, Myrddin and Bob always had a lot of fun together. They would laugh and play all day long. And at the end of their adventure, they would sit down and tell each other stories. Myrddin would tell Bob about his day at school, and Bob would share spooky ghost stories that weren't too scary.
Myrddin loved his adventures with Bob, but sometimes, he wished his family could see his friend too. One day, Myrddin told his mom about his wish. His mom smiled at him and said, "Myrddin, even if we can't see Bob, we can feel him. And I'm glad he makes you so happy. Remember, just because someone can't see something doesn't mean it's not real."
From then on, Myrddin no longer felt sad that his family couldn't see Bob. He was happy knowing that his family believed in him and Bob. After all, every superhero needs a sidekick, every pirate needs a matey, and every explorer needs a partner. And Myrddin had found the best one in his friendly ghost, Bob.
